In the Trysil mountains, 24 highly exclusive cabins are now being built in a stunning setting. Svensgaard Installasjon in Elverum is handling all the electrical installations, and for heating, they have chosen products from Nobø.
– Svensgaard Installasjon was founded by Olvar Svensgaard in 1922, so we’ll be celebrating our 100th anniversary next year, says general manager Stein Halvorsen when we meet him at the office in Elverum.
– Today, we are 30 employees, and we do everything within electrical work and installations. Most of our projects are here in the Innlandet region, but we also have projects closer to Oslo, including in Nannestad and Eidsvoll.

When we visited Svensgaard, three electricians and an apprentice were busy with the electrical installations at a large and exclusive cabin project in Trysil. The project has been namedMountain Chaletand consists of 24 cabins built to a very high standard. Each cabin is 175 square meters over three floors, and from the large panoramic windows in the living room, you have a stunning view of the Trysil mountains.
The developer is Fundament Gruppen AS, headquartered in Jessheim.
– The ground floor consists of an entrance hall, three bedrooms, bathroom, laundry room, outdoor storage, carport, storage room, and technical room, Stein explains.
– The second floor has a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and one bedroom, while the loft has several bedrooms and a toilet. In some cabins, the loft also includes a bathroom.
– One of the reasons we chose Nobø is their excellent heating control system. It’s one of the best and simplest systems available on the market, says Stein Halvorsen.

– We’re responsible for absolutely all the electrical installations in the 24 cabins, both high-voltage and low-voltage, he says. – The low-voltage installations include telecom, data, and fire alarms.

– How have the deliveries for this project been?
– It’s been absolutely fine, says Stein. At least so far. So far, COVID-19 hasn’t caused any delivery issues for us. We’ve probably been luckier than many other industries. Our warehouse manager is the one who has the most contact with Nobø and Bjørn, since he’s usually the one handling pricing and orders. But as far as I know, everything has gone smoothly here.
